Sound Lounge

The Sound Lounge is the Seymour Centre's newest venue.
Originally the Centre’s restaurant and Downstairs Theatre bar, it underwent refurbishment in 2004.
The Sound Lounge is an intimate, multi-functional venue with a capacity of 120 in café-style seating, a high quality sound system, fixed lighting grid and a small stage.
Although the Sound Lounge was originally intended for live music, cabaret performance and comedy, over the years the room has been successfully used for CD launches, season launches, seminars, small theatre productions, end of year concerts, private cocktail functions as well as post-show functions.
The Sound Lounge has a fully licenced bar and offers light meals and pre-show snacks. It is the perfect place to enjoy live music, including Friday and Saturday night jazz present by SIMA (Sydney Improvised Music Association).
