Our secondary education program is packed with engaging productions spanning a range of curriculum links

The Seymour’s 2013 secondary education program is packed with engaging productions for young people, spanning a wide range of curriculum links.

Officially the most highly performed solo show in the world, we present George Orwell’s classic tale Animal Farm, followed by Willy Russell’s all time classic Educating Rita.

Back by popular demand is Sport for Jove’s critically acclaimed interpretation of Hamlet, as well as a new production of Shakespeare’s great tragedy Othello.  Students can also engage further by participating in Sport for Jove’s respected HSC Intensive Symposiums.

Following a sell-out season at Sadler’s Wells in London, Shaun Parker & Company’s dance hit Happy as Larry returns to the Seymour Centre.

Students get the chance to watch performances by their peers from the Board of Studies, The Arts Unit and Sydney Region Arts in Student Showcases.

There’s also a chance for Secondary school teachers to undertake arts industry-standard professional development courses endorsed by the NSW Institute of Teachers.  For further information visit our Professional Development page.
