SEYMOUR 2010 SEASON
Our 2010 performance season is now live, and promises to be a year not only filled with outstanding productions and events, but also an expression of a new direction for the Centre. In 2010, audiences will see major shows across different performance styles and genres, from cutting-edge dance to classic revivals.
The program starts on a high in January with Sydney Festival storming the Seymour, presenting over 14 events across the entire Centre. We partner with the Mardi Gras festival in February with programming both saucy and sophisticated, while simultaneously bringing you the sharp political satire Godzone. And for the rest of the year you’ll be uplifted and inspired by the return of Company B Belvoir’s hit musical The Sapphires, Chunky Move’s renowned dance production Glow, and so much more.
Our new Enquiring Minds series gives you more for your $ with lively and insightful post-show discussions with creators and special guests. First up is Godzone creator Max Gillies in conversation with former NSW Premier Bob Carr. 2010 also promises to be a bumper year for young theatre lovers, with a great range of family shows at the Seymour.
There’s so much to choose from, so dive into our 2010 season and see what whets your appetite. You can either dip in to the season and choose a single show, or purchase three or more shows and receive our Multi-tix subscriber discount. Find out more here.
We’ve also been busy upgrading the facilities here at the Centre, including our foyer toilets, and the installation of a new lift to service all levels of the venue.
