2009 Seymour Subscriber Terms & Conditions

  1. The subscriber is entitled to one free ticket exchange per production.
  2. Subscriber may exchange subject to availability of tickets and any additional exchanges incur a $5.50 (per ticket) exchange fee.
  3. Exchange will not be permitted 48 hours prior to booked performance, or without tickets returned to Box Office.
  4. A subscription programme at the Seymour is non-refundable upon
    purchase.
  5. The right is reserved to vary advertised programs and to add, withdraw or substitute artists as necessary.
  6. Latecomers may only be admitted at the discretion of the management.
  7. Camera and recording media may not be brought into the auditorium.
  8. Ticket holders enter the venue at their own risk.
  9. Subscription tickets are sold on behalf of the organisation responsible for presenting each event or performance; and subject to the conditions applicable to that event or performance and/or the venue where presented.
  10. Patrons remain responsible for checking their tickets upon receipt and reporting any errors.
  11. Priority seating access ceases to be given after 16 February 2009 or after the subscriber allocation is sold out.

Seymour Subscriber Draw: Terms and Conditions

  1. Information about how to enter forms part of these Terms and Conditions.
  2. To be eligible to enter, you must purchase your Seymour Centre Subscription by 16th February 2009. All subscribers purchasing their subscription by this date are automatically entered in the draw.
  3. Employees of The Seymour Centre, its Subscription Partners (companies producing or co-producing productions in the Seymour Centre Subscription Season), Retail Partners (companies supplying benefits to Seymour Centre Subscribers), Suppliers and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
  4. Entry is open to Australian residents who forward a valid form and full payment for a 2009 Seymour Centre Subscription by Close of Business 16th February 2009. Subscribers whose cheques or credit cards are dishonoured are not eligible for the draw unless an alternative means of payment is supplied before 16th February 2009.
  5. One winner will be drawn in a draw which will take place on Friday 20th February 2009 at The Seymour Centre, University of Sydney, cnr Cleveland St & City Rds, Chippendale NSW 2007.
  6. There is one prize consisting of:
  • Dinner for two at Chedi Thai Restaurant including a complimentary bottle of wine (not available if the winner is under 18 years of age) (valued at up to $250)
  • Two tickets to a Seymour Subscription show of your choice (valued at up to $170) at the Seymour Centre
  • One night’s accommodation for two in a double/twin 3-4 star hotel room or serviced apartment (room only), valued between $155 and $455.
  • Total estimated prize valued at up to $900.

Please note transfers and parking are not included and remain the responsibility of the prizewinner.

The prizewinner can select the date of the performance they wish to attend where tickets are available. Bookings for all elements of the prize will then be made by the Seymour Centre’s Production Development and Marketing Department and confirmed with the prizewinner

  1. The winner will be notified by post and/or telephone on Friday 20th February 2009, and their details published in the Public Notices section of the Sydney Morning Herald on Friday 27th February 2009.
  2. The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered relating to the prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  3. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
